In the Name of God the Merciful the Compassionate
The great Sheikh, Imām and erudite scholar `Abd al-Bāri al-`Ashmāwiyy al-Rifā`ī said: Some beloved friends asked me to compose an introduction on jurisprudence according to the school of Imam Malik ibn Anas, God be well pleased with him, and so I answered this request hopeful of divine recompense.
